Healthy dad's world changed after noticing body problem during Parkrun

A fit and healthy dad was given just a 30 per cent chance of survival after falling ill during a Parkrun. Paul Ives, 54, was paralysed down his left side after suffering a subarachnoid haemorrhage in January 2020 while completing a 5km run in the park.

He was rushed to hospital where his family were told there was a strong chance he wouldn't make it.
