Headteacher taking parents to court after they claim he's 'a bully'
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA headteacher is suing the parents of two children who attended his school, accusing them of harassment. Kevin Flanagan is looking to take Keith and Stephanie Critchley to the High Court.
The Critchleys, whose two children Kayti and Leigha went to Pensby High School in Wirral, where Mr Flanagan had been the headteacher since 2015, set up a Facebook group called FamiliesFightFlanagan, as well as an Instagram page and a petition.
The family said they had concerns about the school, which they raised with both OFSTED and Wirral Council. They accused Mr Flanagan of bullying behaviour after attempting to raise concerns with the school.
According to legal papers stating his claim, Mr Flanagan is asking for damages for harassment as well as an injunction to take down the Facebook group and Instagram page.
