Headliner pulls out of Manchester's Neighbourhood Festival

A headline act at the Neighbourhood Festival has pulled out of the event after cancelling all of their upcoming shows. The Mysterines, were supposed to perform at the multi-venue festival in Manchester city centre on 5 October.

The band's stop at the festival was part of a UK-wide tour. The Wirral-based group took to social media to break the news to fans, stating that a tour "is not the best decision for us at this time" due to "recent circumstances". READ MORE: How to get Oasis tickets for new dates as ballot announced In a post shared on Instagram, they said: “It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates due to recent circumstances. “We were incredibly excited to share this tour with you, but after careful consideration, it has been decided that it’s not the best decision for us at this time. “We sincerely apologise to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us perform, and we are deeply sorry for the disappointment this will cause.

Lead singer Lia Metcalfe also took to the comment section to reply to a comment that suggested the tour was cancelled due to financial reasons.
