Three teenagers have since appeared in court accused of murdering the 40-year-old, who moved to Tyneside from Manchester five years ago.
Now Gary's devastated son, 22-year-old Luke Williams, who was also allegedly attacked in the incident, has spoken out about his grief and the loss of his 'loving' dad.
