Armed police descended on a street in Stockport on Thursday morning (March 21) after a Land Rover was 'smashed up with a crowbar' and a man was stabbed.
The violent scenes erupted on the A6 in Heaviley, Stockport, shortly before 10am. Horrified witnesses described the moment a man was seen shouting and striking the car with a crowbar as another bleeding man ran across the street.
Police were called to reports of a 'disturbance', with armed officers also in attendance and an air ambulance landing nearby.
