He thought he'd get away with it, then police seized his devices

A pervert showed a 'complete lack of remorse' when police found a stash of over 90 indecent images of children on his computer.

Gavin Collins, 40, was found to be in possession of 92 indecent image, one of which was Category A, the most serious type, after officers from the Sex Offenders Management Unit attended his Northwich home on April 16 due to previous offences.

While at the address, officers used specialist software on his devices to detect key words of concern. His reoffending was revealed when it alerted police to a number of 'concerning searches and posts'. The seized devices were found to contain 92 indecent images of children - 91 category C images, and one category A image. Following analysis of his devices, officers found Collins was also in breach of his SHPO after discovering he had been using a messaging app that destroys messages and images after 14 days.
