'He's was so optimistic for the future... we've been left in utter disbelief'

The loved ones of a well-known Salford dad who died suddenly have spoken of their “utter disbelief”. Stevan Pugh, fondly known as ‘Pughy’, was discovered at his home in Eccles on March 13.

Alarm bells were raised after no one was able to contact the 43-year-old for several days. His sister Kate visited his flat where she found him unresponsive and called 999.
