The pair, who worked for Ryanair, tragically died at the scene - while the taxi driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
In a moving statement released through Cheshire Police today (July 26), the family of 28-year-old Matt - who was a Captain for Ryanair - say they are 'lost' without him.
Tragically, Matt's death came just three months after he got married to his wife Hannah in Las Vegas, the family said. Their statement said: "Matt had a passion for life and seized every opportunity that came his way.
