HBO's 'Lanterns' DC Studios TV Show Starts Production, First Image of Aaron Pierre & Kyle Chandler Revealed!

Production is taking place on the historic Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, Calif. Keep reading to find out more… The series is based on the iconic DC title Green Lantern.
Here’s the official logline: “The series follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.” Aaron Pierre, Kyle Chandler, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, and Ulrich Thomsen all star. Chris Mundy, executive producer and showrunner, said in a statement: “From the start, our driving force has been to deliver a layered drama – rooted in nuanced storytelling and rich world building – that balances tension and mystery with honest, authentic emotion.
