An Asian fast food giant is to create 30 new jobs at Ayr's Craig Tara holiday park.CHOPSTIX will bring its brand of freshly cooked noodles, tasty toppings, and sizzling sides to guests this month.The agreement, which marks the first foray into holiday parks for CHOPSTIX, will see the first site open within a fortnight.The food firm then has plans to roll out to a number of other parks in the near future.
The new CHOPSTIX at Craig Tara has generated a further 30 new roles at the park.Established in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, CHOPSTIX celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
It operates 80 locations across the UK and Ireland, with 25 franchise sites run through partnerships with the likes of Welcome Break and Applegreen.
Cain Savazzi, food and beverage director for Haven, said: “We are constantly looking at ways to improve our guest food and beverage experience and introduce new dining experiences, and we’ve been looking for a pan-Asian option for some time.
