A new painting of Harry Styles by David Hockney - widely regarded as one of the world's greatest living artists - is to go on show.
The One Direction singer turned solo superstar sat for the portrait at Hockney's studio in Normandy, France, and the results have now been unveiled - but public opinion is divided.
The painting - signed by 86-year-old Hockney and dated May 31, 2022 - depicts Styles, 29, wearing an orange and red cardigan with a pearl necklace and blue jeans.
The picture of the Holmes Chapel-raised performer is one of more than 30 new portraits that will be displayed for the first time when an exhibition called David Hockney: Drawing from Life opens on November 2 at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
