Harry Redknapp says he would love to see Rangers and Celtic try their hand south of the border.The former Tottenham manager says a boost to the game both sides of the north and south divide could be in waiting if it ever happened.
Talk of the Glasgow giants heading to England has been an argument as old as time but the veteran boss says he realised how big Rangers and Celtic were during his playing days.Speaking on talkSPORT, Redknapp says big crowds in America showed him the pull they have, and that England is a far shorter trip.
He said: "You’re Celtic and Rangers so you understand how big those clubs are but people don’t realise. I was in America playing and Rangers and Celtic came over and suddenly there’s 50,000 people.
