Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch has revealed that she had a secret nine-year romance with a movie co-star which she kept under wraps.

The Irish actress has opened up on the fact that she dated Robbie Jarvis, who played a young James Potter, for nine years before they called time on their relationship in 2016, writes The Mirror.The pair first met in 2007 after they both landed roles in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and then began a secretive romance that they kept to themselves.Despite their relationship being very private, the Luna Lovegood actress publicly paid tribute to him in May 2015 on his birthday.On her Instagram page she wished the "sweetest boy" a "happy 29th birthday" and revealed their plans to see a show together.However, after they split, the pair remained friends and continued to attend vegan events together, according to the actress.During their relationship, Evanna convinced Robbie to follow a plant-based diet like her.

Unlike Evanna, Robbie had only a minor role in Harry Potter. He portrayed a young James Potter in the fifth movie, but did not appear on any others.

He has also appeared in a number of TV programmes, including Genie in the House, The History Boys and Waking the Dead, as well as a handful of stage productions.
