Michael Gambon's wife has inherited his substantial fortune after the beloved actor reportedly left his sons and girlfriend "with nothing".The 82 year old, renowned for his portrayal of Dumbledore in Harry Potter, passed away in September last year after battling pneumonia.

Michael exchanged vows with mathematician Lady Anne, with whom he welcomed son Fergus, in 1962 at the age of 22.They remained married until his passing.

However, in 2002, the Layer Cake star disclosed his romantic involvement with set designer Philippa Hart, who was 25 years his junior.

Upon the publication of his will on Tuesday, 5 March, it was disclosed that Michael's long-term partner Philippa, with whom he shared teenage sons Tom, 17, and William, 15, had been left "nothing".
