Prince Harry's decision to not attend Prince Philip's memorial service at the end of March will have come as a "shock" to the Queen, a royal expert has said.

Harry, 37, recently announced his decision not to fly to the UK and attend the memorial service for the late Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away in April last year. The event is set to take place at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 29 March, with all other main members of the Royal Family expected to attend and pay their respects.

But Harry, whom a royal expert told OK! "can't win" over his security fallout, revealed he won't be attending as he released a statement at the end of last week.
