Red-hot Harry Kane praised his Spurs side’s “intensity” after they savaged Wolves and boosted their hopes of reaching the Europa League.
The England captain scored a fine individual goal to break the deadlock before Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg added a 62nd-minute second for Ryan Mason’s side.
England captain Kane said: "It was a really good performance. “We controlled the game from start to finish but we needed that goal just before half-time, and we came out for the second half with a real intensity to get the job done.” Kane’s strike was his eighth in his last 10 for club and country, moving Spurs up to sixth, five points off fourth-placed Chelsea.
