Nobody can get laughs out of old TV clips like Harry Hill, who had us in stitches on TV Burp just by sitting behind a desk and reviewing clips from the week’s telly.
And now he’s back to give us all some lessons on the history of the shows we know and love, genre by genre, with Harry Hill’s World Of TV.
All the usual suspects are here. So of course there’ll be a show on police dramas, covering everything from the elder statesman of TV constabulary Dixon of Dock Green, through the very un-PC action of The Sweeney, to our Sun Hill favourites in The Bill, and today’s acclaimed coppers who investigate coppers in Line of Duty. ‘There’s something really cosy and nostalgic about it,’ says Harry of his trawl through TV’s past.
