Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “secretly planning a year-long reconciliation with the royal family” - but not just yet. According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will only get in contact with the royals after their Netflix show airs and Prince Harry’s memoir is released, says the Daily Mail.
The pair were in the UK just last month following the death of the Queen, and The Sun reports that they had planned to reconcile with her late Majesty next year but were unable to do so.The latest news about the pair came as experts suggested to the Daily Mail that the Sussexes had been trying to “seize the moment to dictate their own narrative” by their podcasts, interviews, Netflix series and Harry's promised biography.
However, a source told The Sun that the book could derail any reconciliation plans: “They have always been careful to not criticise the monarch. They have always tried to be respectful to the Queen," the source said. “But the Queen has now died and Charles and Camilla are the King and Queen.
Clearly, this reconciliation attempt would never work if they have been critical of the new monarch, or both.” Sources close to the couple had branded the previous 12 months their “era of visibility”.
