Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all smiles as they enjoyed a beer at an Invictus Games welcome event in Whistler.The crowd was in stitches when Harry, 40, playfully suggested that Meghan, 43, might grace them with a song.The Sussexes were all smiles ahead of Harry's stage appearance to kick off three days of sporting action at the posh ski destination.
He expressed gratitude to those gathered and invited Meghan to join him, teasing: "And now she's going to sing!" Taken by complete surprise, Meghan could only laugh and shake her head as the audience responded with cheers and applause.
Earlier on, Canadian singer Michael Buble delighted everyone with an impromptu rendition of his song Feeling Good before warmly introducing Harry to the stage, saying: "I know how difficult something like this is, so I wanted to make sure I did this right.
Without the incredible effort of this young man, none of this would have happened, so please welcome my friend, Prince Harry." Harry and Meghan are set to spend three days in Whistler, cheering on Invictus athletes competing in adaptive winter sports such as skeleton and alpine skiing.
