Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have broken their silence over the controversy of Kate Middleton's edited photo. According to the US gossip site Page Six: "Sources close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry" mentioned: "This isn't a mistake that Meghan would ever make...she has a keen eye and freakish attention to detail." However, a spokesperson from the couple's Archewell Foundation has spoken out, reports the Mirror.
Speaking to Newsweek, the spokesperson said: "With respect to Page Six, that did not come from us." The outlet also said that the words Page Six got might be from "someone connected to the Sussexes, expressing a personal opinion, who was not officially authorised to speak on their behalf".
This follows the recent Photoshop mistakes made in a picture shared by the Princess of Wales. The edited photo, which she posted to celebrate Mother's Day and thank everyone for their support during her recovery from abdominal surgery, has been a hot topic on social media.The photo showed Kate with her arms around her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as she sat outside.
However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed a few "errors" in the picture, leading to an apology from Kate. Writing on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Twitter (X) and Instagram accounts on Monday, she said: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. "I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.
