The film adaptation of the best-selling novel Where the Crawdads Sing has added rising stars Harris Dickinson and Taylor John Smith to the cast.
Deadline reports that the two actors “were among a slew of talent vying for the male leads in the film.” The film will take place “in the mid-20th century South and centers on Kya (Normal People‘s Daisy Edgar-Jones), a young woman who is abandoned by her family and has to raise herself all alone in the marshes outside of her small town.
