They say age is just a number, but imagine if you could see your face 20 or 30 years from now, wrinkles and all. Well, now you can – apparently.TikTok’s latest “Aged” filter uses sophisticated facial recognition technology to predict how our faces might look years into the future.

And for most of us, it’s not a welcome sight, showing deeply etched lines, mottled skin and a greying hairline. Naturally, the filter has gone viral, and even celebrities have been trying it on themselves – and are less than impressed by the results. “I don’t like it.

I don’t like it at all,” declared Kylie Jenner upon seeing her older self. Courteney Cox was also not thrilled with the filter’s effect. “Whoa,” she said about her future face, with its added wrinkles and eye bags.

Let’s face it, most of us don’t enjoy the effect that growing older has on our looks, and this has shown that there’s still a way to go before we don’t see ageing as something to fear.
