'Hard Knocks' Director Reveals Why Chicago Bears Are Not Cursing This Season

The HBO series takes fans behind-the-scenes of the NFL team’s training in Lake Forest, Ill., ahead of the football season.
Longtime fans of the series and the team may well know them for using a lot of curse words, but that is not the case this time, as they have chosen not to be so outspoken with the profanity.
Lead director on the series, Shannon Furman, is revealing the reason why the guys are not cursing as much as before. Keep reading to find out more… “I’ll be honest, this team curses much less than any other team I’ve been around, but it is out of respect for the McCaskey family,” Shannon said on the CHGO Bears podcast.
