The teenage son of Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder suffered a bit of an awkward blunder as he appeared on hit show First Dates.
While he didn't appear on the main show, Joe was seen looking for love on E4's Teen First Dates. He was one of the new people appearing on the show in hopes of finding love after being matched with strangers by experts before heading to the First Dates restaurant.
But during the date, Joe made the decision to name-drop his famous father but it didn't land how he wanted it to as his date never heard of the star.
n a clip shared on Instagram, the 19-year-old said: "I'm doing the name drop. Have you heard of a band called The Happy Mondays?" to which his date shook his head.
