The story behind how his career started in South Lanarkshire is nothing short of remarkable and there was a point where he contemplated giving up the game he loved.The Czech keeper made the brave decision to pack his bags and move to Blairgowrie in 2007 after failing to break into the first team at Sigma Olomouc.He spent some time working as a plumber with a friend as well as playing for junior side Lochee United, and one phone call between Ray McKinnon and ex-Accies gaffer Billy Reid changed the now 35-year-old’s life forever.Speaking earlier this season, Černý said: “I had a weeklong trial at Hamilton.
