Ryan Oné admits his rapid rise to first team prominence at Hamilton Accies hasn't sunk in yet.The 16-year-old, who hails from Coatbridge, has featured in 21 of Accies' 24 games so far this season and after passing the 20-game milestone he has now been promoted from the youth to the first-team dressing room at New Douglas Park.He has made four starts and scored once - during a 4-0 Scottish Cup win over East Kilbride last month - for John Rankin's Scottish Championship side since taking the decision to leave Braidhurst High School when he turned 16 in June. The teenager is showing a maturity beyond his years, looking right at home at a club renowned for giving youngsters a platform to shine, with his involvement having echoes of Accies hero James McCarthy, who debuted at 15 after coming through the academy. And Oné admits it has been a whirlwind few months. He said: "It's a good feeling to be moved up to join the experienced first team players this week."To be in that first team environment is good for my development."It's not really sunk in for me yet, but being around them at my age is great.

I don't think many players my age are in this situation yet."I knew it was going to happen eventually because it is a thing when you get to 20 first-team appearances but I just didn't know when it was going to happen exactly."I went into the younger changing room on Thursday and my kit wasn't hanging up.

I got told it was in the first team changing room so I went through and I've got my own wee dooket with all my stuff in it now."It has all happened really fast.

I didn't expect it would happen that quickly but I can't complain."I'm quite close with the younger boys in the changing room more than the older boys and that's to be expected
