John Rankin admits it is time Hamilton Accies start producing points to go with their performances as they prepare to host Cove Rangers this afternoon.Accies have lost their last three games at home in the Championship, but since a strong showing in their last home match against Partick, they have beaten Inverness in the Highlands and lost narrowly to fellow strugglers Arbroath with 10 men at Gayfield.Rankin has been pleased with recent performances but with his side at the bottom of the table on goal difference from the Lichties, he knows results must pick up, starting with Cove.He said: "We go into Saturday off the back of what I think has been good performances.

Thistle at home I was delighted with the way the boys played and we deserved more out of the game."In Inverness we went up there and got a good result, and Arbroath wasn't a bad performance."We are building performances, now we need to build results."I'm fully aware of that and the players are fully aware of that."We went up to Cove and drew 2-2 earlier in the season and we are fully aware of what their strengths are."They caught us out with set-plays the last time and the players are aware of that."Cove are coming here after some good results but we need to start looking after ourselves.

We need to treat the teams that come here with the respect they deserve, but we need to make it about us."It's a case of how quickly we can get three points on the board and the players, staff and fans all working together so we can build on it from there."Another defeat this weekend would really put pressure on Rankin's position, but he believes there isn't much between any of the teams in the Championship this term.He added: "This league is so unpredictable.
