Lyndie Greenwood, who you may recognize from Hallmark films including Magic in Mistletoe, Holiday Heritage, CrimeTime: Freefall, and more, has announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 42-year-old Sleepy Hollow star confirmed on Instagram, “Hey there, friends. I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been dealing with some real life stuff.

The big C is a doozy! It’s complicated and ever-changing…I’m sending out big love and hugs to you all!! Xox” She started a blog to discuss further. Keep reading to find out more… In September of 2024, she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, a form of breast cancer.

Her treatment included a double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, and chemotherapy. “I was told that this type of cancer is an oncologist’s ‘bread and butter,’ and for the first time in my life, I felt grateful to be considered boring.
