We’re many months away from the Christmas season, but we’re already getting some insight into Hallmark Channel‘s programming for the upcoming holidays!
The network just announced that Mae Whitman will be starring in the upcoming limited series The 12 Dates of Christmas, based on Jenni Bayliss‘ novel of the same name. Mae will be reunited in the series with Mary McDonnell, who plays her mom in the movie Independence Day back in the 90s.
Also starring in the series are Pretty Little Liars‘ Julian Morris, Running Point‘s Toby Sandeman, Midsomer Murders‘ Nathaniel Parker, Staged‘s Lucy Eaton, and Dr.
Quinn Medicine Woman‘s Jane Seymour, according to TVLine. Production on the six-hour limited series is currently underway in Ireland and it will air during the Countdown to Christmas programming block in the fall.
