Bourne” brand of international action thriller.“Maude v Maude” only hit the market last week and was nailed down over the weekend, with Warner Bros “getting aggressive and putting in the winning bid,” according to Deadline.
Since taking over as co-studio heads, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy having been pushing to get more movie star packages on the big screen slate, the industry outlet reported.
Once this package with mega-stars Jolie and Berry gelled, it was simply “too hard to pass up,” with Warners putting in an impressive bid you haven’t been seeing from the studios as often these days, especially with the endless amounts of money the streamers wield these days.Filming locations have also yet to be announced but director Roseanne Liang is attached to helm the film, according to ther outlet.The Oscar-winning actresses — Jolie for 1999’s “Girl, Interrupted” and Berry for 2001’s “Monster’s Ball” — have never worked together before, despite being veterans of the entertainment industry.
