Chloe X Halle went on to tour in support of Bey and released two studio albums, 2018’s “The Kids are Alright” and 2020’s “Ungodly Hour.” The sisters also star together in the“black-ish” sitcom spinoff “grown-ish.” Bailey takes a solo turn and makes her Disney debut as the red headed Ariel in the live action remake of “The Little Mermaid,” premiering May 26.
Originally written by Hans Christian Anderson in 1837, the fairy tale about a mermaid who who gives up her voice for a chance at love (problematic) on land was released as an animated film by Disney in 1989.
