Football legend Len Dawson has tragically passed away at the age of 87, just 10 days after entering hospice.
If you aren’t familiar with Len’s career, he led the Kansas City Chiefs to a historical Super Bowl win in 1970 as the team’s starting quarterback.
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987. After retiring from the NFL, Len worked as an analyst for NBC before moving over to HBO to host Inside the NFL.
He finished his career by broadcasting on the Chiefs radio network. His family released a statement, saying, “With wife Linda at his side, it is with much sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Len Dawson.
