Hairy Bikers star Si King has officially ruled out making any shows without his fellow cook Dave Myers, as his partner in culinary crime undergoes a gruelling round of chemotherapy. “There's no [Punch & Judy] show without Punch and there's no Hairy Bikers without Dave”, Si told the Daily Mail during an interview at the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drinks Awards in London. The 55 year old star had been attending the awards on behalf of the duo, as they picked up the Personality Of The Year award, which had been voted for by the public.

Accompanying Si to the ceremony was Dave’s wife Liliana Orzac. “We've always been joined at the hip, so it's very odd for me and it's very odd for Dave,” explained Si. “We'll get through it — he's as tough as an old boot.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter .

Earlier this month fellow Hairy Biker Dave Myers had revealed he was battling with cancer and preparing to undergo chemotherapy.

Speaking on the duo’s podcast, Dave said: “Anyway Kingy, I've got to come clean now, I haven't been too well recently and basically, I've got to have some chemo, you know all this anyway, so this year is going to be a bit quiet for me, I'm not going to be filming, some of the festivals I'm not going to be able to go to, some may be okay but this year's a bit of a write off for us. “I have had to speak up about this because I don't want to hide under a rock, but I would love it if people respected my privacy and just let me get on with it and give Si and our team all the support they need, that would be great.
