A hairdresser has been found guilty of murdering her husband by stabbing him in the heart after chopping onions for their tea.Teresa Hanson, 54, had denied killing Paul Hanson on December 28 last year, but was unanimously convicted following a third trial on Thursday.
Hanson, from West Cowick, near Hull, sobbed and disappeared from view, with her head in her hands, in the secure dock after the jury foreman gave the verdict to the court.
As reported by Hull Live, there were shrieks, sobs and shouts of "no" and "unbelievable" from her supporters in the public gallery.
Judge John Thackray KC told her: "You have been convicted of murder. You know that there is only one sentence, which is life imprisonment."Hanson, wearing a black cardigan, coloured top and black trousers, was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on October 3.
