Graeme Park has set up a charity crowdfund to help fund research into the rare cancer that claimed the life of his 18-year-old son.
Oliver Park died last week, after losing his battle with sarcoma, a type of cancer which begins in the bones and then spreads to the soft tissues.
Oli died on March 22, barely a year after being diagnosed. In a heartbreaking post to social media, his mum Jenny described him as ‘a true warrior’ who ‘never once got angry, complained, or felt sad and fought so hard to the very end’.
The post on the Just Giving campaign explains: “After complaining of leg pain over a long period, Oliver was eventually diagnosed as having a malignant nerve sheath tumour that was a type of sarcoma.
