H&M's £40 trench coat goes viral as TikTokers call it the 'perfect' spring jacket

An H&M trench coat has gone viral after TikToker Courtney_1111_ shared how amazing it looked on her account as she tried on the jacket.

The double-breasted trench coat, £39.99 here, is available both in-store and on H&M online, and comes in both black and a classic light beige colour.The thigh-length jacket features oversized lapels and tortoiseshell-style buttons, with a detachable belt to help cinch in the waist and give it some shape.

Courtney shared the video of her showing what the jacket looks like on the website, before showing her trying it on so her followers can see how it looks in real life.The jacket was a big hit with her followers, with one gushing “Omg this is stunning!” whilst another said: “This is perfect!!!”.

She also replied to one person asking about sizing, sharing that she’d purchased a size small and was 5’6” for a length reference.Trench coats have always been a classic spring jacket, as they’re lightweight enough to avoid overheating, but still warm enough to protect you against the chilly weather that we haven’t quite managed to get rid of just yet.
