The newly freed Blanchard, 32, revealed Thursday on her private Facebook account that she and Anderson, 37, are separating three months after she was released from prison for her role in killing her mother, Dee Dee.“People have been asking what is going on in my life.
Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents [sic] home down the bayou,” she wrote in the post obtained by People. “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this.
I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”The pair met via snail mail in 2020 when Anderson decided to write Blanchard a letter and his friend joked about writing to “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic — but never did.
Meanwhile, Blanchard and Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana, formed a connection and tied the knot in 2022 while she was still incarcerated.
