Gypsy Rose Blanchard is opening up about celebrating Mother’s Day with the female figures in her life and not with her late mom, who was murdered in June 2015.
The 32-year-old Munchausen by proxy victim was convicted of second-degree murder for her mom Dee Dee‘s death and served nearly eight years in prison. Gypsy-Rose is celebrating her first Mother’s Day after her prison sentence and she’s highlighting her stepmother Kristy on the special day.
She also took a moment to address the absence of her late mother. Keep reading to find out more… “It does not go without notice that my own biological mother is not here to celebrate Mother’s Day and what I choose to feel on Mother’s Day regarding my own mother is that I think the best of her,” she said in the video.
She continued, “I think about the good times. I think about her as not what she did to me, but I think about her as a person … Was she a good mom?
