Paltrow took to Instagram and opened herself up to answer fan questions. One of her followers asked her to be honest about whether she was returning to the MCU to reprise her role of Pepper Potts. “The truth is, I don’t totally know,” Paltrow said. “I think I might, but I’m not sure.
Nothing is confirmed. That is the truth. That’s the inside scoop.” Paltrow played the role of Pepper Potts in the MCU when she starred opposite Robert Downey Jr.
in 2008’s Iron Man. She would reprise the role in Iron Man 2 (2010), The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
