Gwyneth Paltrow's staff had to smell her vagina when making her most infamous candle, it's been revealed. The Shakespeare In Love actress, 47 caused uproar when she brought out a candle called This Smells Like My Vagina earlier this year, which quickly sold out.
And according to the chief design and merchandising officer of Gwyn's lifestyle company Goop, her loyal staff took the product's development very seriously.
Shaun Kearney told Closer : "For the Goop team, smelling Gwyneth's vagina became just another day at the office. "She's the ultimate embodiment of the brand, and that means ensuring its authenticity with the products." The candle actually smells like geranium, citrusy bergamot, cedar, Damask rose and ambrette seed.
