Strictly viewers are far from pleased by the results of the first elimination of the series, in fact, some are wondering if they were watching the same dance-off as the judges after Nina Wadia was sent home.

The former EastEnders star and her partner Neil Jones were in the bottom two couples alongside fellow soap actress Katie McGlynn and dance pro Gorka Marquez.

After one of the ‘closest battles ever’ in the dance-off, however, the judges voted to keep Katie and Gorka on the show and send Nadia and Neil home.

The dancing duo scored a respectable 18 points for their tango on Saturday night’s show and viewers felt they did a great job in Sunday night’s dance-off too – better than Katie and Gorka, in fact!
