Rapper Gucci Mane has copped swift backlash, after wishing his haters ‘die of coronavirus’. Seeing as the global death toll from the Covid-19 virus has hit 114,000, safe to say many didn’t take his comments all that too lightly over the weekend. Read the latest updates: Coronavirus news live.

On Sunday morning the 40-year-old Big Booty hitmaker shared a message to Twitter that read: ‘I pray my haters die of corona virus.’ Doubling down on the message, the star – real name Radric Delantic Davis – shared it to his Instagram as well, just incase that handy cross-posting function wasn’t working.

We’re hoping his message as said in jest (if that’s possible of such a sentiment) but it’s clear his followers were pretty riled up as they jumped
