Dangerous snow drifts in Aberdeenshire left a gritter needing to be pulled out by a farmer's tractor after it tried to rescue a car which had also been stuck.
Local Kerry Sutherland said she was "saved" by workers from Middleton Farm after she became trapped in a snow drift on a back road from Parkhill to Newmacher to the north of Aberdeen.
A council gritter came along and tried to help get Kerry out on Wednesday evening but also became stuck in the process. Thanks to the farmers who came along with a tractor, they were both pulled out and saved from the scary ordeal.
The driver of the gritter said he had "never" been stuck before in his 10 years of working on the machines.Kerry posted on social media to praise her rescuers.
