A new Greggs store is set to open in Kilmarnock.The popular bakery giant will open an outlet at the town's Bellfield Interchange.The recruitment process for the new Greggs at the Q8 is underway with anyone looking for a job urged to go instore for details.A sign at the Bellfield Interchange teases the new store.
It reads: "Your new shop is coming soon. Join our team - ask inside for more details."No official opening date has been announced for the new unit as of yet.The move comes after the Steak Bake pioneers took charge of the town's former Pizza Hut venue and turned it into a sit-in cafe in April 2022.
Greggs also have an outlet in the town's Burns Mall.The site, one of Ayrshire's busiest roundabouts, already has a McDonald's, Subway, Londis store and a 24-hour Costa Express along with a BP petrol station and Travelodge.The roundabout itself links to the A71, A77, A76 - all gateways to Glasgow, Ayr and Irvine.Greggs has been contacted for comment.
