Greg O’Shea, along with the rest of the Irish Seven’s rugby team, has finally arrived in Olympic village in Tokyo after a 24-hour journey to get there.
However, the Love Island winner was somewhat taken aback when he got to his room in the apartment block where Olympians stay, only to be greeted by a cardboard bed.
The reason behind the cardboard beds, which honestly look rather sturdy, is that they are more environmentally friendly and can be recycled after use by the athletes.
But of course, with the fact that it’s a bed, and that it’s an Olympic village full of young people, rumours began to emerge that the reason for the cardboard beds was to discourage having two people in them.
