Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

Green Day reworked the lyrics to its hit song “American Idiot” during a performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest Sunday night to take a swing at Donald Trump and MAGA. “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda,” Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong sang during “American Idiot” on the ABC broadcast.
Armstrong swapped the line for “I’m not a part of a redneck agenda” sparking online outrage from Trump supporters. It wasn’t the first time the group made the swap during a performance.
It last occurred in 2019 during the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. In 2016, the band also chanted “No Trump, no KKK [Ku Klux Klan], no fascist USA,” during a performance of the song “Bang Bang” at the American Music Awards soon after Trump won the presidency.
