A teenager has been arrested after allegedly leading cops on a high-speed chase from Liverpool to Tyldesley in a stolen car.
Police were told about a blue Renault Captur being driven into Liverpool at speed along the East Lancashire Road at around 8.15pm yesterday (April 24).
Merseyside Police says the Renault, which had been stolen from Greater Manchester, failed to stop as patrols began to chase it, and it started to head away from Liverpool.
It continued to travel at speed across Merseyside and into Wigan borough, before eventually being brought to a halt in Tyldesley.
