Greater Manchester's most expensive areas to live where house prices just keep on rising

House prices in the UK are at a record high, with the average home across the country now costing £367,501 according to Rightmove's latest data.

This is the fourth month in a row that house prices have risen, with a jump of more than £55,000 in the past two years. Despite reports of the frantic property market beginning to ease slightly, there is little to no sign of the market slowing down in some parts of our region.

In Greater Manchester's most expensive areas, the cost of a home just keeps on going up. Across three of our 10 boroughs, there are nine areas where the average house price exceeds £367,501.

In one particular area, which is known to attract the region's richest residents, the standard cost of a home is a whopping £849,118 - which has gone up by as much as £106,014 in the last month alone.
