House prices are still relatively high all across Greater Manchester as the average cost of a home continues to soar. Despite talk of prices starting to decline, demand is still outweighing supply which makes it more difficult to find a reasonably priced home.
Properties in Greater Manchester had an overall average price of £251,168 over the last year, which was 13 percent higher than the peak in 2020.
But despite the upwards trend luckily there are certain parts of the region where you can expect to buy a home for much less than the average.
On the lower end of the local property market, in the boroughs of Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan, there are certain areas where you houses are priced much more affordably.
