Greater Manchester Police has released a fresh statement following a protest outside Rochdale police station last night in the wake of a viral video showing a police officer kicking a man in the head at Manchester Airport.
Assistant Chief Constable Wasim Chaudhry said the force understands 'the immense feeling of concern and worry' after the footage emerged.

During the protest, demonstrators, some wearing face coverings and chanting 'GMP shame on you', were pictured outside the building, while others present let off fireworks.
